Candi: I've never been to a dungeon, but I'm going to suspect that the "no means no" principle applies there as well. I bet everyone there was nervous their first time too.
Make sure you go with someone you trust and respect and stick close to them. I'm sure that the people there vary in the activities they participate in. I doubt it's all or nothing. In fact, I'll bet no one would have a problem if you just watched your first time. I bet you wouldn't be the only one.
