DVRMAN123: Sure it's possible for it to work out. I know many successful relationships between people with significant age differences. You just have to have realistic expectations. Relationships are difficult when people are at different stages of their lives. One of the most common complaints I hear when there are age differences is that the people have different interests because of their ages.
One thing you want to make sure of is that you aren't unconsciously looking for a father figure. Those relationships don't work because the younger person eventually outgrows the need for the parent figure. I've seen several relationships go bust that way. It's very common when guys marry much older women.
