She said i'm like a brother to her .... what should I do?
I've been friends with this girl for about 2-3 years, and recently began to notice I had feelings for her as more than friends. I told her I like her (although I new she already suspected). She replied: " I'm not really sure that I want to get into a relationship yet... its nothing against you or anything... I just don't know... not yet... I am sorry... I need more time... please, I hope this doesn't change anything"
I replied by saying, "thats ok, I understand ... please let me know when you have decided." It's been about 3.5 weeks, and we've hanged out once alone and twice with friends since then.
I got a mutual friend of ours to see where she's at. She replied "I think of you like a brother ... but that doesn't mean nothing can happen in the future."
What should I do; I'm looking for more of an answer than just move on and forget about her. Because I have strong feelings towards her.
FYI: we're both in high school, grade 11
