I've seen many topics addressing the idea I'm about to ask your opinions upon, however not many of them are relevant to my specific circumstance.

I view pornography regularly, once a day if I am able to do so, and this is in secrecy. I can't remember when I started, perhaps it was when I realized the majority of the internet is composed of it (no really, it's something like 80%?). My parents have caught me once in 3rd grade (yep, that's early) and told me that I ought not to be viewing such graphic content because it could alter my judgement for the worse.

TBH I started up again a year or two after being caught the first time. However, I have recently been caught again, but this time by my own confession when asked whether or not I had been doing such things (I can't directly lie to my parents: that's one of the things my principles have ruled out as irrational).
As far as my parents know, they haven't a clue that I've been viewing pornography fo so many years. It's addicting...

My parents: my mother adheres to her religious principles while my father goes by sense and logic, so religion doesn't doesn't click with him as well as my mother. As for myself, I like to think I am a follower of logic, and logic to me dictates that this is a fine and enjoyable past-time and that no negative effects have manifested themselves in my subconcious.


So I ask this final question, but before reading that, I first ask that you not base your opinions about morals and acknowledge that morals are relative to individuals. Here comes the question... 'Should I or should I not be viewing pornography at this age.' I know that many of you will like to say that I ought to follow the law or that I should follow my parents, but I ask why they are right and I'm wrong. Neither the law nor my parents provide reasonable logic, I seek it in the only haven of sexual open-mindedness I know... I would also appreciate it if you showed how your explanations apply to me specifically. If I didn't have that I could have just considered all the other general statements about pornography in this forum.
