I believe the answer to that could be Yes.
But there would be a lot of work involved, first she had to get rid of the ex completely. In a sense where she would not get back together with him. Then you would have to get with her. That in a sense is a lot of work, plus you have to give her space for the break-up so there is a waiting period.
Just make sure you are not going to waste your whole life on this girl. Also don't let her play you as a rebound. Both of these happen too much, so you need to know the appropriate time to move on and go after some one else.
