You do both: Have activities with friends adn one-on-one time. Trying to isolate her won't work, but if you don't have anyone one on one time, there's not much chance for romance. I've ahd some great relatioships develop hanging out with friends. This helps the girl see you as relaxed and knowing a guy has friends is actually attractive to a lot of girls. But you need some one-on-one time to let romance flourish.
I think the confusion is coming from over analyzing. Just start enjoying the process of beign with her and see what happens.
