There are other forms of birth control that are not the pill. There are IUDs, Nuvaring, that weird hormone thing they put under your skin (I forgot the name!). You can always use condoms and abstinence (I know, but where's the fun in that right?) AND the guys can always get a vasectomy, then they don't have to worry about what the girl is doing (or not doing...).

The pill is not effective with anything. I know women vary from person to person. I know I could NEVER take the pill at the same time every day and I felt I was doing good to remember to take it every day. I even knew girls that got pregnant who DID follow it every day, same time... etc.

I guess if he's wondering what his chances were before she went on the pill.... then they in theory should be a lot LESS now. Less of a chance to get pregnant. In all honesty, why wonder about it at all at this point. She isn't pregnant, she didn't manage to get pregnant in that year or whatever. Just be happy and move on.

And it's GYNECOLOGIST and regularly.
