If you're 18, you're not longer under her authority. To be honest, your best bet is to get a small part time job and simply pay for the phone plans yourself. Try to get a car, or your own place. I'm not sure what your plans are, if you're going to school, but now is the time to be independent, you have no idea how close you are to tasting true freedom. Grab it, and appreciate what life really should be. You've been in a cage for 18 years, and now the bars are rusty. Break them, and get the hell out.
