Well, sometimes it can be a little confusing, since often enough, women's "pleasure faces" look almost like they're in pain.

Just to make sure, speak with your partner at a time when you're not having sex. Express to her how important it is to you that she is happy and not in pain. Ask her to be completely honest with you about whenever she may be feeling uncomfortable during sex.

You sound like a great guy to be concerned about her like this. She should be glad to have you (especially after sharing your concerns with her)!
