If your going to do it do it somewhere where you can make/out for aloooong time & talk to each other about "things" a lot afterwards to seal the deal (so she doesn't have time to think about it afterwards. (so basically at your place from about 11am to 10pm is good, ask her if she wants to stay over...)
She going to respond in one of three ways,
1) Her: push you away, "no your my friend",
you: "sorry I like you, I won't do it again", never talk about it again unless she brings it up.
2)Her: ... (she can't talk while she is kissing you, she feels the same way & you live happily ever after, *as long as you don't screw up!*).
3)Kisses you in the heat of the moment, and think "yay, I like this" then text you the next day & say "ooo I accidentally did that yesterday & think we should be friends" or say some other utter codswallop.
The only one you can do something about is 3, so if you get a 2,3 you should treat it as a 3, cement the deal, make it feel right, make it clear in words "are we going out now?" "yay I've got a girlfriend and she's the most bestest one ever!", " I've liked you, and thought about this, for along time," but mainly
MAKE IT CLEAR, a kiss with no words will get you a crappy text the next morning.
She is going to be thinking.. does he mean it? does he want to go out? was it just a spur of the moment thing? you need to give her the answers to these questions before she asks them to herself so there is no doubt in her mind.
Good luck. Even if you fail you can still be friends, so nothing to lose really right? just don't get too embarrassed to be friends.... thats just silly/immature.
