I did the same thing and the buying didn't stop. I now noticed that the "new" stuff we tried made it into his collection of porn and now he wants that "new" stuff added into our routine. I am as lost as you. I wish I had some better advice for you but, I think maybe we have to live with it? I have even offered to go with him to buy the porn and he still prefers to go alone.
