Perhaps you could find a good female friend and ask her how she sees you. Ask her to be totally honest. And listen to what she has to say without becoming defensive or argumentative. Most of us have very little perspective on how we come across. It is possible you aren't perceived by women as the honest, caring, sensitive guy you feel you are.
You might get some good feedback. But she has to be honest and you have to listen.
