Exclamation Sexual Repression Laws

Indiana State law states:
Public indecency
Sec. 1. (a) A person who knowingly or intentionally, in a public place:
(1) engages in sexual intercourse;
(2) engages in deviate sexual conduct;
(3) appears in a state of nudity with the intent to arouse the sexual desires of the person or another person; or
(4) fondles the person's genitals or the genitals of another person

OK, 1,2, and 4 are pretty straight forward. But #3? If a man is outside mowing his grass shirtless he may not have the intent to arouse anyone, but if he's good looking he's more than likely getting someone excited.

It goes on to say:
(d) As used in this section, "nudity" means the showing of the human male or female genitals, pubic area, or buttocks with less than a fully opaque covering, the showing of the female breast with less than a fully opaque covering of any part of the nipple, or the showing of covered male genitals in a discernibly turgid state.
I understand the genitals and pubic area, but buttocks and female breasts.. come on. And it's not even the breast that matters, it's the nipple. Dan and Jennifer have a great video on this discussion...

And the longer version from their daily Live Video show...

Washington State has a different view on this, perhaps a little less severe.
(1) A person is guilty of indecent exposure if he or she intentionally makes any open and obscene exposure of his or her person or the person of another knowing that such conduct is likely to cause reasonable affront or alarm. The act of breastfeeding or expressing breast milk is not indecent exposure.

Now, to pick on Georgia. Whether Pro-Choice or Pro-Life doesn't matter, these punishments seem a little harsh, don't they?
Inducing or attempting to induce abortion, miscarriage or premature delivery of woman.
Any person who willfully administers to any pregnant woman any drug or substance or uses or employs any instrument or other means to induce an abortion, miscarriage or premature delivery or aids, abets or prescribes for the same, unless the same is necessary to preserve her life or health and done for that purpose, shall on conviction be fined not less than $100.00 nor more than $1,000.00 and may also be imprisoned in the county jail or sentenced to hard labor for the county for not more than 12 months.

New York State defines"Deviate sexual intercourse" as sexual conduct between persons not married to each other consisting of contact between the penis and the anus, the mouth and penis, or the mouth and the vulva.
Uh Oh, I know some people who could be in trouble!

Kansas says Criminal sodomy is sodomy between persons who are members of the same sex or between a person and an animal. Again, I know some people who could be in trouble...

These are just a sampling of the many repressive laws the US government has on our sexuality. Now, I must add that while some of these may seem out there, they do have the good sex laws, including prohibiting child pornography, sex with minors, etc. But to me it seems they may be carrying it a bit too far at times, no?

What do you guys think? Anyone have a repressive law in their state they'd like to share?
