A psychology professor once took his students birthdays and passed out papers with astrological readings on them; predicting personality and preferences. He passed them out to the class and asked them how many thought he knew more about them than he would have by just chance. Most of the class raised their hands. Then he asked them to change papers, and they were all identical.
Astrology can be fun, and I even dabbled in it in college. I realized they were just making high-probability statements that apply to everyone. For example, everyone has considered starting their own business, if only fleetingly. A good astrologer can convince you he or she knows a lot about you simply by making statements that are likely to apply to anyone. (I will admit, Gemini does describe me pretty well.)
Astrology's predictive ability drops to near zero when they are asked to predict something measurable and compared to random chance. It just isn't accurate enough to use it to predict how you will relate romantically. It's fun, but don't start making major life decisions based on it.
