New to bondage

Hi,

My fiance' and I would like to try some bondage. The kind where you tie the other up and tease, touch and play. She has never tried it before, I tried it once with my late wife and just had her spread eagle. Recently I found out that bondage is more than just tieing your partner up spread eagle on the bed. But 99% of those videos dealt more with either S&M or looked really painful. Both of us have done some searching on the net to find some info about knots, positions and such but to no avail. I am not very good at roleplaying, so that part is out at least for now. We don't want to have to buy a bunch of books and/or videos on the subject and find out ofter we try it once one or both of us don't like it and don't want to do that anymore. I found a site that shows some knots, but that is it. We can't find anything else to assist us with our first attempt. I want it to be enjoyable for both of us, but if we can't find any resources to help, one of us might get hurt unintentionally. Can anyone assist us with this?

I don't have any resources for this, but do have a comment.

Just make sure you have a safety word for any type of bondage you do or tieing up. It should be some other word other than STOP. Something like BANANA. Make sure you both know the word every time before you start, and if it's uttered then stop everything.
