Sub, you can get the "real thing" (steel cuffs, and many other toys) from a local or online BDSM / bondage sex toy store like Extreme Restraints. They have a surprising variety of "toys".

And if you really really want real police stuff there's a magazine (and online too) called Galls. There is some very interesting police, fire, and EMS things that someone with a devious mind can think to put to other uses. They are more casual and comfortable, so it doesn't miss the point for some people. It depends entirely on how into bdsm you are imo.
