I wanted to talk to her more often.

hey folks
heres my situation.
new semester begins, and I happened to be in the same class with this girl from last semester im attracted to, but I didnt really get to talk to her back then. now this time around , we know each others' name and talked a little bit bout that class we were in. thing is its only been 2 weeks(3 days because only 2 classes in one week, and this is the first day of the 2nd week) since the class started, I wanted to talk to her a bit more but as you know college classes are not like highschool, the time we can chat is either before class starts or at the end of the lecture. plus she always have this sidekick friend of hers, so im worried that anything i said to her might give her friend any idea which is not my purpose. I intended to ask her if she would like to hang out for a lil bit after class, have something to drink or to eat( so we can get to know each other more though i didnt said that to her right away). I dont know if this is a good idea to get to know her , but there really isnt any other way or chance i can talk to her, i mean if i ask her phone number that might not be very comfortable for her to do, after all im still a stranger to her, we only knew each others name.
well , I dont think she refuse to give me the chance to get to know her. but for the past 2 attempts she always had plans with that sidekick friend of hers.
my question is, is this a meaning that shes not interested, or do i need to use more time to grind this stone and finding a chance to chat with her?

this is one thing bout college
its hard just to meet someone as a regular friend, guy or gal
i mean u all sat there for a hour or two then after the class is over everyone went off to mind their own business, or catching for another class. not to mention classes consist people with all different ages; also different status: married, divorced, taken, single, swingers; sexualities : bi, straight , gay/lesbian .etc. u only got 1-2 hours to get to know the folks in there. I think in a class is the worse place to meet people, then again, u get to see them everyweek, eventually u might become friend with some1 in there as time goes by.
