She's Younger - Should I Ask Her Out??

theres this girl and she is really amazing..but the thing is our ages are apart. Im 16 and shes 13. So should i try to ask her out or is it just a bad idea waiting to happen??

Normally I wouldn't say that a three year difference in age should hold you back, but...

at these particular ages, I think 13 and 16 would be worlds apart. Is she even in high-school yet? It's probably a bad idea at the moment, however, this doesn't mean you can't stay on good terms with her and wait until she's older.

On the other hand, you'll be 18 in two years, in which case things become even more sticky. It might be best to focus on other girls similar in age right now, like 15, 16, 17.

It's not that it's a three year age difference... That really doesn't matter. But, she's 13... And you're 16... She shouldn't really even be seriously dating, yet, and you're in high school. You're in completely different worlds. I would say be careful.
