Should i ask him out for the second date or wait for him to ask me?

Please, please help. I went on a great first date last Saturday with a guy that i met online. He said that he had a good time and kissed me at the end of the date. He said that he would like to meet again, soon but he is not sure when. We have spoken a couple of times since the date.

I have asked him what his plans are for the weekend and i have told him mine. He replied to the message and said that he is busy on Friday night and then he will probably do nothing for the rest of the weekend.

Am i reading in to this too much or is he waiting for me to make the next move and ask him out for the second date??

I feel like im getting mixed signals and im confused on what i should do. It is a while since i have been in the dating game. I really like this guy and want to see him again but i dont want to come across as desperate/needy.

Please help. What would you do in this situation?

Stop and breathe. It's important to not jump to conclusions about what is going on with him. The mind is never good at figuring out what another person is thinking but it loves to tell you the worse case scenario (got a girlfriend, not interested).

The key is to remember that it could be one of a million different things going on. Just wait for him to ask you out. If he doesn't, don't take it personally. It's his lose if he doesn't appreciate the gift that is you
