Just thought I should get a third party's view on the situation.
So, I met this guy about 8 months back. It has been pretty hazy thrughout the whole time. We are good friends, (that's what i have resorted to call us) and we share a lot of mutual friends- including my boss. He lives alone and he's sort of a loner, so he doesn't really have much company most of the time. He would send positive signals, series of them and then just cut off completely, we would both be online and not say a thing to eachother the whole time. And just as i decide to forget the whole cherade and move on, i'd receieve a random call, him asking me to join him for dinner. And it would go really well. We have great chemistry, i think. We've planned trips away together... one which i couldn't go to because of work. He just goes out of his way to make me feel comfortable (i'm a foreigner in his country) that he doest really do for other girls. Asks me about my future- and advises me on what i should do (he's about 4 years older and more mature). Even my boss announces his visits specifically to me before he comes in. Everything seems to be great, but then why does he keep "disappearing"? I mean, i understand being shy, but ten again, 8 months??? One last thing, I asked another person and she just told me "He's a scorpio, deal with it!". And yeah, he is a scorpio and yours truly is cancerian, if that helps. ![]() I hope you can understand this whole mess... i can't... |

Does he have a girlfriend? Has he actully mentioned that he's single? Maybe he thinks you of a really good friend [perhaps likes you a bit] but has a girlfriend, who lives in a different area then him? And he goes to visit her?
This is just a guess. |

do you think you are misreadinghis cues? I also live in a foreign country and dating can be completey different than what you are used to. I think you should ask your other guys friends and girl friends how dating works in the country you are located, this will help you get a better ideaof whats going on.

This is one of those situations where I think you're trying to put together a puzzle that has some pieces missing. The disappearing is unusual. You can bet there's a reason, you just don't know what it is. I think you're just speculating at this point. That is information you can only get from him.
