First date, 1 hour drive to a concert, conversation?
I'm taking a girl I live next to in a college town, to a concert an hour away from where we live. I've talked to her a little, got some background info. What do we do the entire drive to the concert. Do we talk, crank up the radio, or what, I don't want it to be awkward.

Talk about anything but the two of you. Talk about the crazy teacher, the ball team, etc. Do more listening than talking.
Pitfalls to avoid: Talking about past girlfriends/relationships. Talking about a potential relationship between the two of you. Anything the least bit creepy. Otherwise, keep it light and funny. Be sure to playfully tease her a little. Work in a compliment, but don't overdo it. Take music in case it gets tense.

Keep the music on but keep it at a reasonable tone.
Like Beagle said you can talk about anything and everything but relationships. Movies, college, classes, the food at the school. ect.
