I'm in college: I like my female neighbor and we have talked a little bit. We have a few classes together but never say more than hi. However, she always comes up to me and wants to talk at parties and dances. I don't know if she really likes me or if she's being a good neighbor. Should I just simply ask her out? When and where: at a party, before a class? Any advice will be appreciated. I was invited over once by a housemate for dinner. The girl I like told me the door is always open to me. Should I take advantage of that, just invite myself in and ask her to go out?

She might be being friendly.
She may also like you. I would suggest asking her out at a party if you really feel up to asking her. If she says NO just continue to be friends. There is nothing wrong with asking her and still being friends in the end.

Good point, Xero.
If you're wondering if she's interested, the only way to know for sure is to ask her out. The worst she can say is "No." If you don't ask, you'll never know. Fortune favors the bold. Women like men with the confidence to ask. They also feel flattered, even if they aren't interested. |
