So glad you asked! The best way to say Thank You is to dive right in and help someone else. Think of it as "Pay it Forward" - an amazing and very inspirational movie if you've never seen it. In fact, help as many people as you can, and save up some serious Pay It Forward points! LOL
How can I find out right away when my question is answered?
You should automatically get an email when your question is answered. If you don't receive an email withing a couple of days of asking your question - at the very most - come back and check the question page. It is possible that the notification email went to your spam or bulk mail folder.
Oh, and be sure you entered a valid email address when you joined! That's how you get notified of an answer.
How long will it take to get an answer to my question?
On average maybe a day or so. Sometimes it's just a few hours, sometimes it could be longer. Each question is different.
What can I do to increase the chances of getting an answer fast?
The best way to increase your chances of getting a quick answer is to dive into the community. Join the ongoing discussions, start commenting on other threads, and answering other people's questions as soon as you ask yours. That way people will notice you and say "hmm, that's a neat person, I'll go check out their other posts. Look, they had a question, I'll go answer it right away". Yep, it really is just like that.
What if I keep waiting and nobody has answered my question?
We are incredibly fortunate to have a very active and extremely supportive community. But some questions and comments can still slip through the cracks sometimes.
But... if a few days go by and you still haven't received an answer, send us a message using this form, and be sure to include a link to your question. Please wait at least 72 hours before sending us this notice however, so that we and our community has a chance to get to your question. :-)

No - Please do not send us a personal message with your question. We'll just refer you back to this Help page. That honestly is why we originally started the Forums - we were getting dozens and dozens of questions every day, more than we could possibly answer. We get hundreds of emails every day. So we decided to build a large and extremely supportive community so we can all help one another - in a useful and timely manner.
If if you have any questions relating to Dating, Love, or Sex, please submit them to the appropriate forum (i.e. sex questions under Sex Tips and Advice, dating questions under Dating Tips and Advice, etc.).
Again, if you send us your question by email, we will refer you back to this Help page when we finally get to your personal email which could be days. Please follow the simple instructions here and post your question to the forums, that way you'll get a good answer fast. :-)
However, if you have a comment or general question for us which is NOT related to Dating, Love, or Sex advice of any sort, use this contact form. Again, Love & Sex questions will be referred back to this Help page. :-)
Help - I can't remember my password?
No problem! If you have forgotten your username or password, just click here to request to have your username emailed to you and to reset your password. When you fill in your registered email address, you will be sent instructions on how to reset your password.

Be sure to include some way that we can identify you, such as your login ID or a link to a post you have made in the Forums. Without that, we can't find you.
Once I submit my question or comment, can I still edit or delete it?
No. You cannot edit or delete your question or comment once you submit it. Actually there is a small window of time after submitting your question - less than an hour - during which you can still edit it. After that point, you can add details to augment or clarify your question by clicking the Post Reply button on the question page.
How can I stop receiving email notifications for my questions or other discussions I have participated in?
Very easy! All you have to do is log into the Forums and follow this link to see what "threads" you are subscribed to, and "unsubscribe" from receiving email notifications for some or all of them.
Warning: This will stop future email notifications for the discussions you have already engaged in, so you will have to log in to the Dating, Love & Sex Forums to find out if there have been any further answers or comments to those discussions or questions.
Note also that this unsubscribe link is provided to you automatically at the bottom of every notification email you receive, to make this process easy for you - so there's no rush to do this.
What if I just like making mean, negative comments and hurting people's feelings?
Sorry, this forum is not for you. Only positive, helpful people are welcome, ho haters allowed. Please move along and search Google for a discussion forum catering to haters, sky-is-falling pessimists and glass-half-empty-ers. A KEY rule on The Dating, Love, & Sex Forums is keeping all questions, comments, and answers positive and conducive. It's certainly ok to disagree with others, but it's never ok to be mean or hateful toward anyone.
