How do I get the girl i am wanting?

Hello there. I am head over heels in love with the girl that cuts my hair. I love everything about her. But I dont have the balls to do anything about it. And I feel like I never have the opportunity to because 99.9% of the time i see her it is when she is cutting my hair and I dont want to make her feel uncofortable especially at her work place. There was one time we ran into each other at a bar. She approach me and was all like oh hey whats up and i said nuthing just here with my buddies. and then I could not think of anything else to say 45 seconds of nothing and then she said well ok i guess i will see u later. i got got my hair cut a couple of weeks later and everything was cool. I guess what I am asking for is advice. I need to know how to talk to her, get her attention and notice me and become attracted towards me, and gain some self esteem and self confindence. Thanks

Do you two usually chit-chat while you are getting your hair cut?
I don't necessarily mean flirting or anything that would make her uncomfortable, but just basic information gathering and sharing about each other.

The main reason I ask is to get a better idea of why neither of you had anything to say to the other at the bar.
Do you two usually have great conversations and this was a one time freeze up, due to nerves?
More likely, you just need to get to talk more and get to know each other better the next time you're getting your hair cut.
Then your relationship with this woman will move past infatuation to at the very least, a friendship and it will feel more natural to invite her out to do something you share an interest in or to approach each other outside of the hair salon.

When your getting your haircut talk to her about casual stuff, then maybe compliment her once about her hair, or shirt, or her eyes. Then maybe accidently rub her hip or something. Talk to her as friends but make sure you show her that you want more then friendship. Maybe after two or three haircuts ask her out on a casual date, but don't put her on the spot.
