When I first met my girlfriend our first kiss was a french kiss, after we started going steady when I attempted to kiss her normally, (Anywhere, arms, legs, mouth, cheek) she bugs out and begins fervently wiping it, she stated she has a "saliva phobia" however during sex she doesn't mind me sucking or licking her breasts, why is this? We have been very very steady almost to the point of marriage for almost 2 years,She has gotten more comfortable kissing then she did in the beginning but it is still very difficult and she attempts to hide her phobia by attempting to be "suave" or joking around but semi-reluctantly does it, but I cannot french or open mouth kiss her, and I haven't since the first day I met her. What can I do? I've tried being supportive and come up with ways maybe it doesn't seem so bad for her.

Does she mind when you just peck her with your mouth without using saliva? How about kissing her in the shower?

No, we rarely take showers together, she doesn't like cleaning her more personal areas when I'm around. even then she doesn't like it either. In fact I think it's worse.

Have you tried talking to her about it and seeing what she likes now? I've never herd of a phobia like that, though there is one for everything. just try talking to her about it, if she shy's away maybe try again a different time.
