My understanding of being "in love" with someone means that you are infatuated with a person and you see them as "having a halo over their head" if you will excuse the expression. When you love someone it means that you recognize that the person has their flaws and faults but you still care about them.
This is my understanding of the differences between these two things. If anyone has any other thoughts on this or would like to correct me please feel free to do so. |
