Default Definition of being "in love" with someone and "loving" someone

My understanding of being "in love" with someone means that you are infatuated with a person and you see them as "having a halo over their head" if you will excuse the expression. When you love someone it means that you recognize that the person has their flaws and faults but you still care about them.

This is my understanding of the differences between these two things. If anyone has any other thoughts on this or would like to correct me please feel free to do so.

Then we proceeded to the mall and went shopping for her mother's birthday. I amazingly ran into three of my friends. So we all finished up our shopping and went out to eat.

So after that I took her home, we got out of the car and went to her porch and talked a few min before we went our normal ways.

So I went outside to get to the side street where my car is parked. It just finally hit me, in a previous topic I thought I was missing something from this relationship. Like that special feeling when you kiss someone, or how they make you feel special.

I thought it was supposed to be that tingling feeling, but I was completely wrong. I felt it all along and it was the heart's warmth, that's the best way I can describe it. You just feel everything is right, and your going to miss that person so much the second you leave them for the day. It just hit me in the face and I thought I would share it with everyone.

For the record it took me 8months and 16days.

Linked below here is the topic I am referring to.

No where else to turn to
This is my experience with it.

I completely agree with your statement above too.

Hmm I thought love is just that, love. A strong desire for another.
Then there is lust. A strong desire for someone sexually.

Maybe Im off topic but this is how I see things. Too many times have people confused the two.

Oh, and making love and having sex. Two very different things. Again, off topic maybe but another example?
