Why the New X Files Movie Was a Little Disappointing...

Well, yesterday we wrapped up our live show a little early and headed out to see the just released new X Files movie, titled "I Want to Believe".

But frankly it was a little disappointing. Without giving any spoilers for someone who hasn't seen it, I will say that this movie would have made a good episode in the X Files series - even a 2 part episode.

But it just wasn't a worthy follow-up to the first X Files movie... not by any means.

This movie seemed to be sort of pieced together just for the fans to have one last glimpse - and I didn't see any hint at another sequel. Just to be clear, it wasn't a bad movie, just not nearly as good as we had hoped.

Let's just say Batman (The Dark Knight) and Iron Man were significantly better.

Thanks for the thoughts... I think I'll save it for rental on DVD then... even though I do like David Duchovny on a big screen...lol.. but that's almost as good on my big screen HDTV lol.
