Question I Get So Jealous When I See My BF Watching Porn!

Dear Dan and Jennifer,

Do you have any advice on how to get over my jealousy? When I see my bf watching porn, I hate it! I figure it’s cheating ‘cause you’re imagining doing the other person. It’s so frustrating!

First, men are visual creatures - they don't have the same inner workings that we do.

While women tend to fantasize and read romance novels - a.k.a. girl porn, men can get off simply looking at a photo or watching a short video clip.

If only it were that easy for us...

Second, sex is not cheating and fantasizing about sex is definitely not cheating. Can you imagine the trouble we'd all be in if we got busted for cheating every time we fantasized about someone other than out parter. OMG!

Porn is basically just a visual fantasy - nothing more. If you look at that way, I think your jealousy will subside... He's not going to go have sex with the porn stars - if you're lucky, he'll have sex with you!

Why not try watching it together? You may be surprised at what it can do for both of you.
