Hi anyone and everyone,

I'm in the eight grade and i have a big problem. I met this new girl in our school and the minute i met her i was lovestruck. My problem is actually double stringed. I'm a good looking guy but im a bit on the heavy side. I really want her to go out with me and all of my friends want me to go out with her because i havent had a girlfriend in over 3 years. I dont no what to do shes really shy but when i talk to her shes very friendly to me and i dont know how to ask her out. Someone please help!!!!!!!!

Well, I had a similar experience with a guy in grade nine.

Just become her friend, be yourself, and if you feel a connection with her ask her to a dance or something.

If you're only a little chubby it really won't matter if she likes you (I see supermodel-material girls walking around holding hands with guys who could only be described as obese when I'm out all the time).

Just be yourself, that's all you can be. If she likes you for you, then you have somewhere to go. If not, then maybe it's best to find a girl who does.

Absolutely, like FreezeFlame says, just be yourself. She seems to like you, which is great. But don't focus on "going out", that's like cold calling and can get you a "no".

Spend time with her, do things together, get to know her as a person and be her friend. We're pack animals, we need friends, human contact, etc.

Just remember, girlfriend is "girl" + "friend". Jennifer is my best friend, has been for years. And it's ok for her to know you like her, so don't pretend that you don't.
