What's your opinion on being astrologically compatible?

I'm a Pisces girl having troubles with a Leo boy.

I'm no nut about the whole idea, but it seems more often than not, a real occurrence one shouldn't live by, but take note of.

I hear the usual suspect for a Pisces Leo match, is that the Leo is so over-bearing that the poor Pisces crumbles at the Leo's feet, and it's not a good match. It's not a good relationship romantically, but just friends seems to work fine.

However, I'm independent, extremely social, level headed and down to earth. My Leo seems to be somewhat reclusive, smothers me, and puts me on a pedestal and spoils me. I'm not the sort who finds being showered with gifts and affection as a stronghold in a relationship.

this whole year we've been together has been pretty fun, I mean... it's meant something to me. But now I'm becoming bored and frustrated with his constant focus on pleasing me and paying little to no attention to whatever life he has that simply doesn't involve me. I almost feel more like a mom than a girlfriend at times, when I feel I have to remind him to keep himself in relatively good health, and to try to live his life. So far little to no progress has been made.


My big thing right now is... I want to leave him, even though there's no real reason that's obvious to the outside world [hell, he's not beating/verbally abusing/neglecting me] I just want to... do my own thing?

Am I a bad person? Is this something to do with signs, or is it just something that happens?

The signs have nothing to do with it, I can assure you. Sometimes people are just not compatible and this can happen with someone in your "perfect" sign. I'm sorry for your distress but be true to your heart. If you aren't happy or being treated well it is time to move on.

What you could be looking at here is the classic problem about you being a Water sign and him being a Fire sign. Water will find Fire stimulating for a while but since you're naturally more low key and require less maintainance it can be overwhelming dealing with Fire morning, noon and night.

Fire signs like Leo are very sweet and affectionate, though, and quite generous with their heart. They're actually a bit TOO generous and tend to fall for someone fast. That's why you probably feel so weird - you're not that in love with him, but he's madly in love with (or crushing on) you right now and there's a serious disconnect there. Believe me, if this were the real thing you would KNOW.....you wouldn't feel annoyed by him.

Also Water signs need a lot of private time and "me space" and Fire signs absolutely HATE being alone, especially when they're involved with someone. They're kind of like a puppy who just wants to constantly lick you and receive head rubs all the time. You don't want to kick a puppy and disappoint him, but on the other hand you can't stand that manic energy all the time.

Be on the lookout for someone who is either Cancer or Scorpio or who has their rising sign and/or moon sign in Pisces, Cancer, or Scorpio - chances are they will have more of the same emotional and personal rhythms as you and it will be a better match.

In the meantime, try not to break the Leo guy's heart. He sounds very sweet, but you have to be honest with him if you're just not that into him.

Any advice for an earth sign (Capricorn.. i think i'm earth)? Got out of a relationship with an aquarius, end of September... he broke up with me.

I do agree with the other poster about signs not really mattering. But Knowing the sign of the person can at least assist in dealing with personality types too. Like Aquarius tends to be very independant types, such as all the water signs probably are. So, I know I would give him his space and stuff. And I would try very hard not to smother or nag or anything. I guess sometimes I dont understand my own sign that well... because according to some resources, I should be on top and very successful but i'm not hahaha. anyways... just curious!
