Hi, everyone. In my posts, I have often cautioned people against trying to move to commitment too fast, especially letting someone know that your happiness depends on them. It's been my experience that doing so just scares the other person away. I had no idea, this had been researched systematically. Check out this Science Daily article that cautions against this very thing. It's kind of cool to know that my experience wasn't that off base.
