Ok I have watched a lot of your videos, and find them most informative, you do your research and back round on your topics, which I appreciate and respect.SO I am writing this to you as a first timer, I have only spoken to my doctor and came up with one result. MY QUESTION is this, I believe I have erectile dysfunction for several reasons, I can count on one hand how many times I have actually had an orgasm while fully erect (usually its semi hard mostly 90% or more of the time) The only time I apparently GET an erection is if I have to urinate, whether it be in bed or when relaxing. IF I do get an erection, even manual stimulation will cause me to lose it, meaning go flaccid and impotent. I have had a vasectomy years ago but it has been like this my entire life. I am wondering HOW this could be "just in my head" as my doctor has informed me, since it HAS been like this for life, I have discussed this with my girlfriend and we have surmised that ADHD might have something to do with it, and having my mind think about a million things a minute. Please let me know if you do so choose to pick this as a topic by simple return email if you will, as I am not on my computer nearly as much as I was a year ago. Signed, Randy In The Great White North. |

It is apparent to me that this hasn't received a thorough workup. Here are some things that need to be checked out:
1. If you're on an antidepressant or antihypertensive, that could be the problem. Unlikely, due to the duration of the problem but I want to be thorough. 2. You need bloodwork including free testosterone, thyroid panel, and A1C. 3. You need to see a urologist. Unless he has done a lot more testing than you report, he doesn't have a basis to say it's "in your head." You always rule out a medical cause first. 4. A complete medical and social history including any history of abuse or trauma. If you're waking up in the middle of the night with erections, it's probably psychological. Otherwise, the first step is to rule out a medical problem. The diagnosis is half the cure. Until you know what's causing the problem, you're shooting in the dark trying to fix it. It's time to get this properly evaluated. |
