she has me confused all around

okay i have this friend i knew since 7th grade and we haven't talked this whole summer until it dawned on me her b-day is tomorrow july16 th but i called her that day and she put some kind of sexy voice on once she found out it was me and it was funny cause she never talked to me that way and she was a work also. but while we were talking she said this whole summer you didn't call until my birthday then i said well i didn't think i was that important to you she giggled. then we were txting one night and i remembered she played at the gay game through 8th and through high school, so i asked her i said you still playing at gay she said yeah. and i wanted to tell her that i had this flare of affection for her again but didn't i teased my way up to telling her i had something to ask her but didn't. until the other day i e-mailed her on her myspace and it showed she read it but never responded and her feeling showed that she was sad the next couple of hours or so. i just need help I'm confused

If you two have been friends that long she's probably weighing out the pro's and con's of how she feels, and trying to figure out if she loves you too much as a friend to risk the relationship or if she thinks you two are meant for more, so your best bet in my opinion and that's all it is, is to take a deep breath and a step back for the moment and let her ponder it over, cause if you push anyone to make a decision it usually ends badly, and you could end up losing her as a friend as well of any hope of dating her, but you made the first move and opened the door and now it's up to her to decide, so the only thing you can really do is be patient, and wait, and support her in her decision no matter which way it may go! I'm pulling for you though for whatever it's worth, and I hope no matter which way it turns out you don't alienate her like I did mine, Cause she might be thinking no for now and not no forever only time will tell! Stay positive and things tend to turn out the way they should!

if u have been freinds that long she is mostlikly thinking "if i say yes what will happen? or if i say no what will happen?" rely i say wait it out and she will respond depending on her feelings.
