If that bothers you, use a condom, or for your hand a latex medical glove or finger cots (they're like condoms for your fingers).

Re. length: I have more than 7 1/2 inches, and that can hurt her -- especially if you "pound" her. Start out gently without using your whole length, since the anus/rectum will probably be a little shorter than your organ. Stop before you feel the end of her rectum with the tip of your organ!
