Shaving down under

Hey,
I am a guy and I am thinking about trimming or shaving down below. I am not sure to how I should go about this or to what extend. Any insight to this would be nice.

The extent is only a matter of personal preference. Who are you going to show it to and how do they like it?
Once we know this it's easier to describe techniques.

Shave your balls and shaft with a Quatro razor because it's very safe. Buy cheap hairclippers and trim the rest of your pubic hair with the "No 3" attachment.

As was stated, it is personal preference as to what to do. I have only had one person other than myself ever see my genitals, and that was about 2 years before I started trimming. I first tried shaving completely but found that uncomfortable. Then, using a beard trimmer, I started trimming starting with a longer trim setting trimming my way down every week until I hit an uncomfortable length again. Finding the setting I prefer to use was my biggest factor in continuing to groom the genitals. However, finding the right "technique" will depend solely on you. I will say that I found, when shaving to the skin, it really helped for me to pull all the skin as tight as possible while shaving so that I didn't nick myself. (Although no one would have been able to see it, I would have felt pretty silly walking around with a little piece of toilet paper stuck to my balls to stop the bleeding of a nick.) I hope this helps some.

I've been shaving for about 10 years now. I like to use hair conditioner(Paul Mitchell-super charged conditioner) and a Schick Slim Twin razor. Don't press...just let the blade do the work. The first time you do it, cut it short with the clipper before you shave it.
I shave my balls and shaft, the use a clipper with a #2 or 3 on the rest.

Hey, Ive been shaving on an off for about ten years I find that for a start if I shave the lot off I get alot of ingrown hairs and a bit of discomfort as alot of others do, I now only shave my balls and trim my pubic hair this looks mean tidy and manicured, it also makes my penis look slightly larger. P.S dont be scared when shaving balls and remember the hair grows in more than one direction.

Wow, I've thought about doing it but felt paranoid about possible injury.

Every time I look at my bathroom, I want to be like Ethan Hawke in the movie "Gattica" and just shave/scrape off all the excess hair so it isn't all over the damn place. That would be one of my motivations for doing it.

OK, what about the sex part? Does it cut down on the abrasive marks that you and your female counterpart could have if you didn't both shave? And how close to the skin would you both need to keep it to avoid this?

if you have the regular brown or black i would go all off
if you have blonde or brown its a turn on for most people and i would keep a little..... very little

start off with just the top and see how you like it then if desired do more
