I'm the husband and I love my wife. In the coming weeks, we will be celebrating our 25th anniversary. Throughout the years, sex has varied from great to "let's just get it over with." As expected, life goes in cycles so there are times when we are really hot for each other and times when things cool a bit. Right now, we are in a cool cycle for a number of reasons. Her mother passed away a year ago and she is still grieving over the loss. She's also starting to go through menopause. She goes 3-4 months and then has a very big period. I don't have advice to jump start your sex life again. (maybe later but nothing comes to mind currently).

But you should use a condom because pulling out method doesn't always work.

There can be sperm in pre-cum that can get her pregnant. So even though you didn't cum inside of her she can still get pregnant.
