Default Erections aren't fully hard and don't last!

I have erections that last a few seconds, then they quickly go away and then it’s really difficult to get it back up...
It might be worth mentioning that when I get morning wood (which isn’t often), my erection tends to last a few minutes instead of a few seconds, but it quickly goes away as soon as I urinate.

There was a period where I started taking antidepressants, I had almost no sexual desire...up to the point where I was beginning to doubt whether I was still heterosexual. However, I haven’t been using these medications for at least a few months. But now I can hardly get it up while watching or being stimulated. When it’s up it isn’t completely hard, certainly not enough for vaginal penetration.
I am currently taking no medication (except for a couple of ibuprofen a day since I get migraines a lot); the only recreational drug I have used in excess is cannabis, which I have stopped using for a few weeks. I have normal blood pressure, and I get an average amount of sleep.
From this information, could anyone identify the source of the problem or a potential solution? Is there some restorative action I can take?

First of all, hello!

I tried to do some research on "Cannabis" however I couldn't find that much, other than it is a medicinal herb. Now, many many reasons can be the ones making you to not be able to hold an erection. The best thing to do is to talk to your doctor in your next physical. My only question is, this issue started after you quitted with that drug, or was it before? Perhaps your body got used to it and it is responding in this way because of the lack of that substance.
The only thing that I can advice you is to have it checked with your doctor. And psss. just because you can't hold the erections you're not heterosexual. There is more to heterosexuality than vaginal sex, and if you still dream of a woman instead of a man, then you're straight

The issue surfaced about two and a half years ago, when I had been taking various antidepressants for a few weeks. After I noticed the sexual side-effects of one type of antidepressant, I switched to another. This continued for about 5 or 6 different medications, each spanning around 2-4 months.
It has been quite a few months since I have been prescribed these medications, but my libido has never recovered since.

During this period a little over two years ago, there are several variables that could have been the cause:
1. I was in a state of anxiety and depression (which is now resolved)
2. This was when I started taking antidepressants (which I no longer take)
3. This was around when I started smoking cannabis, which after about a year became a daily ritual (but now my use has become infrequent, once a week at the most)
4. I became less physically active (but now I do daily push ups and run a few times a week)

My alcohol consumption is never more than once a month, I haven't contracted any serious diseases or suffered any illness recently, and other than the potential causes I mentioned I don't know what the source of the problem could be.

I am still able to ejaculate, but I require extensive visual and audio stimulation (hardcore porn) and I am still only partially-erect when I do so.

If there is any other information I could provide, please do not hesitate to ask.

Thanks for the reply and thanks in advance,

Joe

I do know there are two basic kinds of erections possible.

Psychogenic (the kind of erection that occurs as a result of having sexy thoughts or by looking at erotic pictures) and reflexogenic (erections that occur as a result of direct physical stimulation of the penis or surrounding area).

Neither give you a full erection unfortunately.

Its possible that the medications are still in your system.Brain chemicals control your sexual response, so any drugs or conditions that alter your brain chemistry can alter your sexual response.

Like whats been stated, consult a physician.I would see a urologist or a neurologist. Its very likely these two fields of medicine should have "experts" who are comfortable with and have experience in working with men who have erection problems.Tell them everything because they feel comfortable with and have experience in working with men who have erection problems.

I hope this helps some.

This would normally help, but unfortunately I am overseas and I'm not coming back for a few months so I won't be able to schedule an appointment with my doctor for a while. Is there anything I can do in the meantime. I have started taking 50 mg zinc and 900 mg saw palmetto daily in hopes that this will have some type of positive effect.

Default How do I ask my question?

Many prescription based drugs available to improve sexual health. Just need to find out is it real pharmacy or not. Many people used pills and they survived also. Real pharmacy pills works and help to increase stamina. Its main advantage is that without any fears the person can be use this drug with another medication. Anyone can order online also.
