Breaking up with swingers.

My husband and I recently had our first jaunt into the world of swinging. We rushed into it, and now we are not really into continuing our sexual relationship with them. Truth is we do not have any physical attraction to her. How do we tell them without hurting her feelings? How do you break up with swingers and still remain friends?

I think just the way you told us is the best way to approach it. Simple, sincere honesty is never a bad policy. Just "We think you guys are great. We rushed into this and we realize now that we just weren't ready. Thanks for being patient with us." Of course, that needs to be put into your own words, but I think that basic principle will work for you in this situation.

Indeed, honesty is greatly underrated... some will respect you for it, some will not want to hear it. But more than anything you'll respect yourself for truly being honest with yourself and others.
