The best usually is to respect the breakup distance and then make that call that says " I agree we both need time to look at this from a distance and i respect your need for that. I just called to let you know that im ok with that but im also looking forward to a day we can sort things out and get together again". I've been trying to be unpredictable to someone who has known me for 15 years. But I can't seem to let go the negative feelings when I'm around her. I want to be happy and confident around her instead of weak and pathetic. She is currently seeing someone. And told me that she will be going out for her birthday with this guy because he is more fun. Then she said on my Birthday we'll go out. This alone really bothers me. The answer is yes. I want to live the dream and not just watch it pass slowly by. My confidence has been shaken to the core because the rejection I feel when I'm around her. The one thing I've always kept in mind is that after you leave (or lose someone) focus on yourself and who you want to be. If who you are or who you are meant to be doesn't not gain it's value from your relationship. If you and your mate just aren't compatible do you really want to get back together?
