A lot of relationships end AFTER the engagement - so many people seem to take it for-granted, that it's in the bag already and let their guards down and they don't keep up the fire. You need to keep putting wood into a fireplace to keep it going - it won't stay burning on its own. “Seduction is an ongoing process.” is what one of my favorite highschool teachers taught me.
