Hey Jeff,

Yeah, there are a LOT of urban myths out there. It’s downright scary.

The sad part is that a lot of people are so uninformed on the topic, and they make bad decisions. Those bad decisions for kids mean getting pregnant, getting sick, etc.

It’s amazing how many parents won’t discuss sex openly with their kids – like it’s something to be scared and ashamed of.

So those kids learn about sex from their friends at school or worse – from their first boyfriend or girlfriend. Don’t know about you, but I’d rather have my kid be informed and learn about it from me.

Much of this goes back to sex and sexuality being such a repressed and taboo topic.

So one of our goals is to deal with that, one day at a time.

Oh my God that’s such an urban myth. I didn’t watch the video cause the answer is pretty obvious, but these kind of urban legends, in my opinion, are there to install fear of pregnancy to young women to prevent sexual activity.

Same goes with that other urban legend about how an octopus grew inside a woman’s belly.

Also, if you need to know, HIV virus (the one that causes AIDS, if you did not know) does not survive in open conditions either. It can’t even survive on the surface of a toilet – fat chance in generic water.
