I have recently been employing this strategy with my boyfriend. We're both so busy all the time! Setting aside time to spend with each other gives us both something to look forward to at the end of the day. Also, we find that there can be plenty of spontaneity even though we've planned to spend time together. Often, the anticipation that gets built up during the day means that we don't end up going out at all!
