On early dates where a couple really don’t know each other to well, it’s best to avoid things such as dinners. For one, it’s the most expected and has no thought to it. For anouther, It gives you to much time to have nothing good to talk about.

I prefer to do something active, exciting, and aggressive. Paintball would sit at the top but a girl isn’t gonna wanna be wounded it. Go for racketball. If you take a girl on a date to do girly things, she might as well have just gone with her girl friends.

Dan and jennifer’s date idea have saved my relationship!! I used to sit around with my love and only wish we could experience the bonding and excitement that many other couples do. We followed their advice and rented a convertible for the day while the weather is still warm and took a ride to the countryside. We bonded and grew so close after that. Thank you so so much. John and I owe you big time.

Agreed, it’s hard to beat a cup of coffee or something for a FIRST DATE, just to get to know each other and figure out if you ever want to do something together again.

Don’t know that I’d really recommend the vegetarian forest picnic or night swim either until you know each other a whole lot better.

Having her defenses up because of an unfamiliar environment and an unfamiliar and unpredictible companion are NOT the best path to courtship and getting closer.

Rule #1 – don’t freak her out on your date.

I still think that the first date should be a more “traditional” one. Only after you know the person a little bit more, you can decide if he (she) would really enjoy a vegetarian forest picnic or a night swim in the sea.

That’s some nice tips you have. In my local context, I see the same old boring thing where couples only meet out for a meal, and perhaps catch a movie or two out of their busy life schedule. I guess people need to take some time out of their life for themselves.
