Jeff – there are a few “standard” things in most peoples profiles. I think the most common is to the affect of, “my friends mean the world to me” – i think this is a good thing to include. It always raises red flags with me when I see “my friends are the dumbest people in the world” or “i have no friends – please be mine”.

One thing I cannot stand on the typical online dating profiles of women are the following lines :

“I’m fun and outgoing.” or “I’m a really sweet person once you get to know me.”

To me that translates as “I’m just like every other bimbo head.”
