Masturbation does not reduce fertility in men. This is a common misconception, but a generally a man’s testicles are able to reproduce sperm at a high rate. Frequent masturbation, such as daily masturbation or masturbation more than once a day, may temporarily reduce sperm count, but won’t affect fertility in the long term. Masturbation, especially during the teen years, won’t affect a man’s fertility at all in his life, although there are other factors (such as which type of underwear are worn) may affect fertility temporarily. Other things that can affect sperm count are exercise and medications. If you’re concerned about your fertility, see a doctor to discuss your lifestyle and daily habits to find out which ones are most conducive to being fertile.

Masturbation And Erectile Dysfunction

Masturbation also does not affect a man’s ability to get an erection, now or later in life. In fact, masturbation can help with sexual relief and can sometimes help with impotency (practicing getting an erection and finding out what is arousing), and even frequent masturbation won’t cause or speed up erectile dysfunction in later years. Erectile dysfunction can be caused by age, medication and some other factors. ‘Premature ejaculation’ is a well known term. And every guy that’s heard of it has his own theory on the best way to deal with it. One of the most common is often referred to as the distraction technique.

What is the Distraction Technique?

It goes like this. While having sex, the guy who doesn’t want to come too soon thinks of mind-numbing concepts or completely non-sexual imagery. For example, he’ll count back from 1000 or picture a deer getting hit by a car. Whatever it is, he’ll make sure it is a complete turn-off.

He’ll do this in an attempt to take himself out of the moment and therefore distance himself from the sexual stimulation he is receiving all in an effort to extend his sexual performance. But you have to ask yourself: is having sex for a long time worth it if you’ve got to totally separate your mind from it?

Of course not! This distraction principle is a bad way to handle the problem of rapid ejaculation. Instead, you should use the REAL distraction principle, which goes like this.

The REAL Distraction Principle

Great sex isn’t just about penetration. Any man that thinks different is in for a nasty surprise. Mutually pleasurable, great sex is a combination of teasing, foreplay and penetration, amongst other things.

The point here is that sex should be varied. This is not only good from a pleasure point of view, but also from a premature ejaculation point of view. By periodically altering what you and your partner do to and with each other during sex, you can keep your stimulation levels under control and thereby delay your climax from happening until you want it to.

I’d like you to imagine you’re an athlete whose specialty is running the 1000 meter race. Your goal is to run or jog around the 1000 meter track in the shortest amount of time possible. Simple enough, you’d think. Just run as fast as you can.

But that’s not how it works. If you were to sprint at your maximum speed as soon as the starting gun sounded, you’d soon be so drained that finishing off the rest of the 1000 m would be impossible. Arouse yourself until you are erect using whatever method works for you.

Begin to pick up speed and increase grip strength. Focus on how the sensations of pleasure change, both in their location and their intensity.

What most people don’t realize is that erectile dysfunction is not necessarily just a simple physical problem.
