Every once in a while, we run across something cool and want to share it with you…We came across this cool little quiz the other day.

Wondering why you’re still single? Or have you even given up wondering and just accepted being alone?

Some people enjoy spending some quality, relaxing time by themselves, you know, ‘me time’.

But that’s a very, very different situation from being lonely and alone – not having another person in your life. We’re pack animals and need that human contact, that personal presence, that comforting touch. For most people, being alone is a really depressing reality, and it basically sucks.

Well, stop it!

Take the ‘Why Am I Single?’ love quiz and maybe you’ll find out what you’re doing wrong. It’s a short, fun love quiz that may well help you find your way, or maybe find where you’re going the wrong way.

The short quiz walks you through some soul searching questions, to see what you’d do in certain romantic (or romantically related) situations. For example, how you would deal with your new love interest inviting you to meet their parents – maybe a little too early in the relationship. What would YOU do?

One particularly cool feature is that once you take the love quiz you can embed the widget (a link to the quiz) on your blog or MySpace page and it’ll show off your results along with a cutesy note.

If You Think The Law Of Attraction Won’t Work For You, You’re Probably Right! Here’s Why…

By now you have probably heard the phrase “Law of Attraction”, it’s been quite the buzz word in pop culture for the past few years. The Law of Attraction is the concept that we attract into our lives what we think about.

There are some who doubt the Law of Attraction but there aren’t too many people you could find that would deny the fact that in order to accomplish anything in life it does take some thought. The thought comes first. The achievement comes after.

Whether you want to use the phrase “Law of Attraction” or not, it is a fact that energy flows where your attention goes.

So how can we harness this energy in a deliberate manner to attract a partner, a potential mate or maybe just a date?

Well, to start with think about this. Where is your attention? What are you thinking about?

I remember when I was single and hanging out with my single girlfriends, at that time an extremely common sentiment that I would hear over and over again from many smart, beautiful and talented single women who all really wanted to find a nice man and settle down was “All the good men are taken. All the good men are either married or gay”. Consequently, those very same intelligent and attractive women who really wanted to find a nice man would more often than not meet the men who were married, gay or otherwise unavailable. It was inevitable.

Because you attract what you think about whether you want it or not.

Therefore you need to be aware of your thoughts and vibrations. Because, as you think about what you want, the Universe brings it to you and as you think about what you don’t want the Universe also brings it to you. Everything is included; there is no exclusion in the Universe. Whatever you focus on will come into your experience, whether you actually want it or not.

Now of course, these women didn’t “want” to attract married and gay men. And perhaps they were just expressing the frustrations they were having but they were creating an endless cycle. They were attracting exactly what they were thinking about , “married and gay men” and not thinking about and therefore not attracting what they really wanted which was a “nice man to settle down with”.

So if you want to use the Power of Law of Attraction to deliberately bring you what you really want the best thing and really the only thing to do is to…

“Think about and focus only upon that which you really want."

If you find that difficult there are some very valuable techniques you can use. One easy and very effective technique is to use affirmations. Write down what you want and what you are looking for and then develop some affirmative statements that coincide with your list. Say it to yourself over and over again. Repeat and repeat.

For example….

“I meet nice and available people everyday”

“I always meet nice, single men”

“I am so happy and grateful that I am able to connect with the type of person that I want to have in my life”

And so on. You get the picture. Just make the affirmation true to you. If it resonates with your heart and soul, it is more likely to work for you and you are more likely to use it to your advantage.

One more thing, as it starts to work and you start attracting the kind of person you are looking for, remember to be grateful.

Do You Need a Dating ‘Time-Out’?

Whether you’re a man or a woman…

If you’re actively trying to meet somebody, but yet every time you meet someone you’re so busy that you’re next available time to go on a date with someone is ten days away, why bother dating??

Make the Time

Dating is all about creating time in your life to connect with other people. If you’re out there on the market and your next available date time is two weeks away, take yourself off the market until you’re able to balance your time.

Here is the reason why: If you meet someone spectacular and you’re in the middle of your “busy being busy” phase, you won’t have time to nurture that connection. What happens then is that this great person will lose interest, and they will be out of your life before they even had the chance to be in your life.

Keep Your Word

Now I know some people are thinking: “What if I tell them I’m super busy for the next two weeks and can’t hang out?” That’s acceptable . . . But if you are super busy for the next two weeks, you need to make the effort to reconnect with that person when the two weeks is over. Be a person of your word.

If you’re a woman and you’re super, super, super busy, don’t tell a guy “Let’s get together in two weeks,” tell him that you’ll call him in two weeks to set something up. By making that call, you’ll be a person of your word . . . and actions do speak louder than words.

The Rules

The rule here is: If you’re the one whose is busy, YOU have to make the reconnecting phone call when you’re less busy.

If you’re on an online dating site and you’re super busy for two weeks, hide your profile for two weeks.

If you don’t have time to date . . . don’t! I’m all about taking time-outs when needed. But by being busy and still trying to meet people when you don’t actually have the time to meet them, you may just miss out on that amazing person!
