    thanks for this video… i’ve been hung up on my ex for the past year and a half, and we only dated for 2 years. im with a new and amazing girl right now, but i keep remembering times i had with the last one, and i also compare. but the things that were said in this video were things i needed to hear from someone i didn’t know. to be assured that it IS normal to feel that way, but that life can go on without a special part of it.

    The “staying friends” advice is silly. If you are heartbroken, cut off ALL contact until you are completely healed. It’s only then that friendship is possible.
