    A black woman I’ve known for nearly twenty years has said that sometimes when we’re out together we’ve gotten looks. I haven’t noticed.

    Sometimes people assume that we are married. I’ve never heard anybody say anything about it.

    And we live in Texas.

    Well, I have been dating a black girl for some time. And it seems more like the older generation has problems with it. White people and black people stare at us the same. However, the younger generations are better with this. They understand that skin color doesn’t matter.
