   I had a woman I had just met tell me that she wanted to “take me out for my birthday”. So naturally I said yes. I ended up having to pay the check after seeing that she was going to make no effort at all. I later found out that she was appalled I didn’t make a hasty effort to pay the tab. Needless to say, I haven’t been hanging with her. But geez, if someone offers to take ME out, I didn’t think I’d pay the tab. Any thoughts?
